The dranaige pipes vastu

location of drainage pipes is also very important part of vastu. Let us have a detailed study of the subject.

1. North or east directions - drainage pipes in these directions are good.

So all the pipe lines of bathrooms & toilets etc. should have outlets in north or east directions ,it will cause good effect.

2. north-west or south-east direction-above average.
But it is always better to change the direction in north or east.

3. South or west-are blew average in a vastu. Good direction for Gutters , but turn the direction of out lets if in this direction.
. .

4.north-east,&south-east are average.
It is strongly recommended to change the direction to north or east.

5. South-west is normally considered a little beneficial for upper floor dranage pipes in compelled conditions.

Height of the building fully explained

EAST-
Height of the building in east leads to loss of wealth& health, also painful quarrels.
North-East :-
IF the is high in north-east it will lead to litigation's loss of health&wealth, even death.
South-West or South-East:-
It is always good, it will bring prosperity, development.

North:-
loss of wealth.
South or West:-
very good for health, wealth and pleasure.

TIPS for vastu.

Here are some important tips for a decent house:-
* The voice of door bells or wall clocks etc. should be melodious.
* The holy books such as Ge eta, Ramayana, etc should not be kept in the box of bed or sofas etc.
* The folding beds or cot etc should be in the west or south directions of the building.
* East or North side wall is good for dressing table.
* East-North corner is not good for keeping shoes, brooms, oil cans etc.

* South -West or South-East directions are better for Nixie, grinders etc.
* North or East side is good for dressing table.
* While cooking the face of the cook or who so ever should be in front of east side .
* cooking gas shouldn't touch the walls East or North or EAST -NORTH are good directions.
*It is very bad to feed a child sitting in the middle of door . In this case mother will be under the be em which is very bad .
*It is very use full if there is a Tulsi planted in the house. It will create good effect on the fate of the inmates.
* Pooja of Tulsi plant in the house[except on sunday ] will add glory to the house.
* It is good if there is a mirror in the dinning room but bad in the bed room.

Vastu For Bedroom

Location for bedroom
Bedroom is the rest room , which relieves the resident of full day fatigue and tensions . But it has come to my experience that in spite of all the comforts and luxury in the bedroom , one can not find peace or relaxation only if the bedroom is located in wrong direction .

Bedroom for seniors
Master bed room should always be in south-west . All the members can take deep sleep , only by sleeping in a posture so that head is in south and feet towards north or head in east or west . But one should never sleep in north - south .

Bedroom for young girl
A south east corner is best location for the bed room of a young girl .

Bedroom for a young boy
East and east-north direction are more suitable for the bed room for a young boy , children should always sleep with head towards west and feet in the east .

Posture for the couple
Couple should sleep in such a way that the lady partner always in the left side of the male ,that is wife in south-east and husband in south west . There should be no beam or any hanging over the bed of any one .

Guest bedroom
If guest are accommodated in north west of the house , they will fell quite comfortable and cheerful but will not stay for a long time with you .

Telephone and television in bedroom
South east corner is the ideal place for the telephone and television in the house .
HEAD-LOCATION
South very good will give sound sleep.wealth &prosperity are additional gains.
East equally good increase in talent &academic proficiency of children, can give prosperity too.
South-East good sleep will be sound ,wealth will increase.
South -West good enjoy good family life and good sleep
West good Aged people enjoy mental Peace in this position.
North normal to avoid mental tension change to more favorable South or West.
North -east not good lack of sleep and other problems
North-West not good restless night will be gifted.

Location of head while sleeping

For good ,sound sleep i t is very good if you sleep in south -north direction.

vastu of industry

South -west, South and West zones are good for the installation of heavy machinery.

But all the light machinery should be installed in north and east zone in this case.

Boilers/ac panels /generaters/heaters/dyers /ovens /furnaces or any other installations etc work best in South-East ,or in case of completions in the North-West or East zones.

Toilets or fire/power installations should not be provided in the North-East,or center or West zones.

brahamsthan [central zone of building ]

Center of the vastu or place is known as brahamsthan.bharma is the Creator of the universe. If the centre of the vastu is overloaded or heavy materials are stored in the centre, construction is done here such as building of a kitchen, bath room,or any other construction or if there is a basement it will be against the rules of vastu.

So the brahamsthan should be open.

Now the question arises if there is a tubewell,or a hand pump or a septic tank in this position .The answer is very clear that it will be much more harm full.
Painting in the brahamsthan .

The walls of brahmsthan should be painted white.

vastu of watertanks

Position of overhead water tank

As water is an important element. So the direction of water over head tank or storage tank is much more important . The reason behind is that while making a water storage tank on the roof the height of the building in that particular direction is raised . Similarly for a storage tank digging is must.According golden principles of vastu if these are ill designed or located wrongly, it will lead to many a troubles , loss of money etc. The details are as below:-

1. East---it is always good but the height shouldn't be more than the railing of the roof.

2.North--loss of money in many a ways.

3.South-east---unexpected expenses will spoil the charm of life.

4.North-east---good but should be below the height of railing.

All progressive and right minded people like to locate a over head tank in south according to the vastu science.

Position of under ground water storage tank or water source.

North very good for money & prosperity

East for propriety & luck

South Dan grouse for the life of wife and cause of mental sickness.

West Many fold increase in spiritual dedication and increase in wealth.

North-east Good for prosperity and progress.

South-east Loss of money, ill health of the children especially the face and back bone i s effected.

South-west Tendency of suicide, accidents,or death of a Senior member of the family.

North-west Theft and quarrel with neighbour.

Other positions for under ground water:-

If not exactly in ideal direction then it can be as near to as possible to north, east, west.

Vastu for Dinning Room

Dinning table
Oval shaped dining table are cause of all the quarrels in the house . So the dinning table can be square or rectangular . One should not place a dinning table under a beam .The gravity of beam in this position will lead to many diseases especially stomach disorders .

Precaution on the dinning table
Wile sitting on the dinning table the head of the family should always face the east direction , the children north facing but none should sit south facing .

Wash basin in the dinning
Wash basin can be ideally located in the north- east , this also is true for all the hotels , restaurants and other too

Fridge
The fridge can be placed in north-west of the dinning .

Vastu For Kitchen

Kitchen is most important part of the house . Because most of the time a house wife is , in the kitchen . Most important facters that makes a kitchen more useful are , gas stove , gas cylinder , exhaust fan, sink , water connections , utensil cupboard and other necessary articles . There are many questions which are generally asked about a kitchen such as :-

Location of kitchen
Ideal location for kitchen is east - south corner . Science behind is, sunrises in east , second east south corner is dominated by fire element . So if kitchen is in east - south corner then the injurious bacterias will effect least in this corner .

Sink
Sink should be in north east . If there is a sink in south , It will lead to quarrels and disputes Water storage should be in north - east corner .

Gas and gas stove
It should be in the eastern wall of the house but if by mistake or otherwise , any one is cooking on north wall of the house, it will lead to financial loss and bankrupscy . Similarly if in a house cooking is done in south there cannot be peace . it will lead to daily quarrels and infighting .

Utensil rack
Ideal location for utensil rack is South or west wall of the kitchen

Vastu For Bathroom & Toilets

Bathroom and toilets

One of the most important part of the residence is bathroom and toilet . These should be built strictly according to vastu principals and should be very neat and clean . Position of water taps , geyser's , water outlets are very important factors

Location for bathroom

An ideal bathroom -toilet is located in south or west of the house . One should always face north or west while using the toilets . It is much more important that there should be no bathroom or toilet in the east or north side of the residence .While taking bath it is good if you face east but never sit facing south while taking bath

Effect of wrongly designed bathroom

If there is a bath room in the east or north of the establishment , it will lead to a dangerous quarrels or even death of a young one .

Water and fitting

East-north or west wall of bath room is ideal direction for water fittings but not at all in south wall of the residence .

Geyser fitting

South , East or West are respectively good for geyser fitting but it is not desirable to fit a geyser in the north direction .

Science behind Lord Krishna’s Aarti

Science behind Lord Krishna’s Aarti

The ritual of lighting a lamp
Ideally, ritualistic worship should be done with the flame in the soul. However, since most of us do not even experience this inner light, let alone perform worship with it, the ritual of waving lit lamps is performed with a physical lamp. One should light a lamp using ghee (clarified butter) because when burned, frequencies emanating from it are more subtle than those emitted by burning oil or wax. Ghee can attract sattvik (pure) frequencies from as far as heaven while oil can attract frequencies from a distance of only one-meter.

Today in this scientific age one might ridicule lighting of lamps as one can have the wonderful benefits of electricity. We must remember that our ancestors have attributed great importance to this after in-depth study. They also did it with the spiritual emotion of gratitude. Let us now compare electrical and ghee lamps.

Electric lamp v/s Ghee lamp
1. Kind of light emitted Blinding Mild, it reminds one of the flames of the soul.
2. Effects on man Makes man extroverted and the atmosphere chaotic. Makes man introverted.
3. Ability to light another lamp absent. It can light a thousand more lamps.

The ghee lamp symbolizes the spiritual emotion, ‘I will be (spiritually) enlightened and (spiritually) enlighten others as well’. The ghee lamp burns to spread light. One can pray for kindling the light (spiritual yearning) within us and for the ability to spread the light (Spirituality) to others.
The spiritual meaning of things used in aarti for God, and the method and science of waving around the aarti

A small plate (Tabak):
It represents the five-vital airs (panchpran) of our body. One should have such spiritual emotion when performing aarti that ‘I am waving around aarti for God with my five vital airs.’

A metal lamp-dish (Niranjan):
The flame of ghee’s niranjan represents our ‘Atmajyot’ (internal light). The spiritual emotion one should have is ‘with my five vital airs this atmajyot is alive, and with such flame I am waving around God.’ The five niches (mouths) in a niranjan indicate the relationship between five vital airs and atmajyot. Panchaarti is the one done with five vital airs.

Cotton wicks (Vaat/baati):
Cotton represents detachment. Such a wick is to connect the five vital airs (pranvayu) with he inner light (atmajyot).

The image above is a depiction of the science behind this ritual performed with five lamps (five wicks in niranjan). When the ‘tabak’ is waved around in a circular motion, the pure (sattvik) frequencies emitted from the flame of niranjan spread out in a circular fashion. Hence, these sattvik frequencies gradually convert to raja frequencies. These frequencies are like a ripple effect in water. A subtle armor is created, which is known as ‘ripple armor’, around the one who sings the aarti. The duration of this ripple armor is proportionate to the spiritual emotion one has while singing the aarti (the more is one’s spiritual emotion, the longer it stays). Hence, due to increase in inner purity, one can absorb more divine frequencies in the Universe. As one’s spiritual emotion increases, one will begin to see the reflection of the center point (atmabindu) and will feel that the raja frequencies actually originate from this center point.
Why is aarti done in a clockwise motion - how many times and what significance it has ?
Aarti is done clockwise in a circular movement from our left side. That simulates our Chandra (Ida) nadi. It is a soothing effect. Usually five circles are made during aarti, which represents the five pranas, or vital airs.

What is the significance of offering lotus flowers, tulsi leaves, and sheera or kheer as prasad (holy sacrament)?
Flowers have different colors. Those colors are able to attract Pavitrakas (subtle particles) of different deities. In this case, Lord Krishna being an incarnation of Lord Vishnu is attracted most by white lotuses and Tulsi (holy basil, occimum sanctum) leaves.

Prasad (holy sacrament)
Contains the pure particles (pavitrakas) of a particular deity. In the case of Lord Krishna, Kheer (a sweet dish made from milk, sugar and rice/vermicelli) or sheera (a sweet dish made from semolina, ghee and sugar) are offered.

GAYATRI MANTRA

OM Bhur-Bhuvah-Svah.

Tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasva dhimahi.

Dhiyo yo nah pracodayat.

'Gayatri Mantra', the ultimate Vedic prayer to awaken the intellectual powers of a person, first found its reference in the 'Vedas' believed to be the storehouse of all Divine Knowledge and the most ancient scriptures known to mankind. The universal prayer is addressed to the Sun God, addressed as 'Savitha' as the Life-Giver on Earth. Goddess Gayatri or Annapurna is believed to be the Mother-God that animates all Life. Considered to be the essence of the Vedas, Gayatri Mantra fosters and hones the knowledge-yielding faculty of a person. The four 'mahavakyas' or ultimate sentences of Gayatri Mantra, is a sacred mantra that demonstrates the unity that underlies multiplicity and manifoldness in creation. The essence of the Mantra can be stated as follows - 'Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.' The individual words and characters of the Mantra have a meaning of their own than can be defined as follows:

Om: The primeval sound that represents Brahma,
Bhur: The physical world that embodies the vital spiritual energy or 'Pran',
Bhuvah: The mental world and destroyer of all sufferings,
Swaha: The celestial and spiritual world that embodies happiness,
Tat: That or God, referring to transcendental Paramatma (Ultimate Spirit),
Savithur: The Bright Sun or the Creator and Preserver of World,
Varenyam: Best or most adorable,
Bhargo: Destroyer of all sins,
Devasya: Divine Deity or Supreme Lord,
Dheemahi: We meditate upon and take in,
Dhiyo: The Intellect,
Yo: The Light,
Nah: Our,
Prachodayath: Inspire or Enlighten.

Thus, the Gayatri Mantra can be translated as follows:

We meditate on the glory of the Creator; Who has created the Universe;Who is worthy of Worship; Who is the embodiment of Knowledge and Light; Who is the remover of all Sin and Ignorance; May He enlighten our Intellect.

Thus, we can say that Gayatri Mantra basically consists of three parts:

1. Praise,2. Meditation, and3.Prayer.

While chanting the mantra, we first praise the God or the Divine Power, meditate upon it in all reverence and then finally pray or make an appeal to the God awaken and strengthen the intellectual powers of a person. The Mantra is said to be the embodiment of all deities and is certainly not associated with any particular religion or sect, time, place or person. While Om, Bhuh, Bhuvah, Swaha, Thath, Savithur, Varenyam, Bhargo and Devasya are said to be its nine colors or praise of the Divine, Dheemahi is related to meditation and Dhiyo, Yo, Nah and Prachodayaath are said to be the parts of the prayer aspects of the mantra. 'Gayatri' is not actually the Goddess, which sounds surprising but she is held in equal reverence because she is the mother of the Vedas or Divine Knowledge. The other two forms of Gayatri are Savitri and Saraswathi and these three are said to be present in everyone, in which - Gayatri is said to be the one to control the senses of a person, Savitri controls the Prana or the Life Force of a person and Saraswathi controls Speech of a person. Thus, the three together represent the purity in thought, word, and deed. In the same order, Gayatri is said to enhance one's intelligence and intuition by recitation of the mantra, Savitri is said to protect the life forces and Saraswati is said to guard one's speech. The deity Gayatri is said to be 'Panchamukhi' (having five faces). These five faces are actually the five senses guarded by her or alternatively, five 'pranas' of life forces protected by her as Savitri. The concept of Savitri being the deity to control life forces stems from the legend that Savitri was the devoted wife who was so pure and loved her husband so much that she succeeded in bringing her husband back to life by forcing Yama, the God of Death, to return his 'Prana' or Life Force. It is said that Gayatri Mantra acts as a third eye of a person that opens up a whole new world of spiritual realization and attaining Brahma. It is said to have power to protect one from any possible harm. Even the science-minded Westerners have found that the correct recitation of Gayatri Mantra in the right accent as described in the Vedas produce certain vibrations that make the surrounding atmosphere visibly illumined, which is described as the 'Brahmaprakasha' or Effulgence of the Divine by more staunch believers. As prescribed by the Vedas, Gayatri mantra must be chanted at least three times a day during morning while taking bath, noon before eating lunch and evening at the time of sunset to cancel out all the sins that one may have done all through the day unknowingly. However, it is best to recite Gayatri period during the 'Satwik' or 'pure and serene' period during the day from 4 am to 8 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. The Gayatri Mantra should be recited while meditating upon the fact that everything is within oneself and thus, we should keep and develop confidence in the Self.
